Citing the importance of a good impression, Sodexo chef Phil LaRussa put the finishing touches on the Dining Hall, which had just been turned into a palatial heavenspace for dining.
“We’ve got the chandelier, the red carpet, I mean, what more do you want? This is parents weekend,” LaRussa beamed.
In addition to festooning the space with glitter and glam, the DH also hired 5 extra chefs to help with the main courses, which included beluga caviar, lobster de jonghe, and mushroom risotto.
“We’re doing what we normally do here at the Dining Hall, but with a tad more effort,” said chef Cola Bianco. “These dishes are superb.”
At press time, several Emerson students were seen with their mouths agape in the Dining Hall, while their parents nodded in approval.
