Paul Fischer, an 2012 Emerson graduate and acting prodigy thought to be a hot young talent, was seen trying to avoid people at Griddler’s.

“Really hoping I don’t run into anybody here,” Fischer said. “This gig is temporary man.”

Fischer, a New Hampshire native who is currently “in between projects,” initially moved to Chicago after graduation to try and break into comedy. He was last seen somewhere in Echo Park, Los Angeles, where he was trying to score a lead role in a small-budget horror film. He then returned to Boston, two hours from his hometown, to make some quick cash and re-evaluate. He has now won Employee of the Month two straight times.

“I’m happy to be here, making money,” Fischer said. “It’s actually a nice working environment and the food industry can be pretty solid pay if you do your job well en- wait, is that Stacy Erikson? Duck!”

At press time, Fischer was seen rehearsing a monologue with a customer.
